For our client, one of the largest paper & cardboard manufacturers in the world, we are looking for a Microsoft Exchange Administrator, to join an existing team and fill the knowledge gaps in this particular area.Your job would be to provide on-call support as required to ensure availability of mission-critical services such as authentication, Active Directory, GPOs, DNS, DHCP and access to network resources.

Duration: 12 months+ (long-term collaboration highly desired)
Volume: 30-40 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Support patch and release management by installing monthly Microsoft security patches, hot fixes, and anti-virus updates
- Possible overtime and schedule changes based on business needs (On-call rotation of after-hours support is required once every 4-5 weeks)
- Monitor and track incidents and trouble calls in a service desk ticketing system in support of the incident and problem management process
- Monitor Microsoft server performance, run routine server diagnostic tests, perform and monitor system backups, and perform cluster failovers
- Monitor Exchange message queues, resolve non-deliveries, and perform message tracking and record status/findings in daily operations log
- Create user accounts and mailboxes
