ICS Functional Safety Engineer (100% position, 40h/week)Profile / Competencies
• A Master degree in Microelectronics Engineering or equivalent field of studies;
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in functional safety in Semiconductor fields (ISO 26262)
• R&D Experience in an industrial high-volume manufacturing company using technologies such as power electronics, analog electronics, microelectronic and ASICs
• Team worker with excellent communication skills (English), international mindset and intercultural experience.
• Knowledge of Requirement, Configuration and Issue Management tools (IBM Rational DOORS, CodeBeamer, SVN, JIRA…)
Main Tasks
• Define the safety objectives for the product and Technical argumentation in the Safety Case for the product
• Definition of technical safety concept and safety manual for ASIC
• Understand requirements and needs of the stakeholder on Functional Safety at the project level
• Conduct relevant safety analysis engineering methods, such as FMEA, FMEDA, DFA, FTA, during ISO26262 compliant product development
• Develop FIT rate calculation for fulfilment of safety requirements
• Support to R&D to deploy the methodologies efficiently
• Supporting R&D teams in impact analysis regarding the Functional Safety
