Source Group are currently working with an International Bank as they look to hire a Senior Freelance Developers to join a growing team.You will engineer the technology infrastructure that underlies the management of financial risk, you will work in a close-knit team designing innovative technical solutions to challenging problems.
Location: Switzerland
Contract: 12 Months+
Responsibilities:
- As part of the Risk IT team, contribute to the continued development of the Risk IT system stack into an agile architecture based on small loosely coupled services, in line with the longer-term IT strategy for banking services
- Work on concrete projects envisaged for : enable credit checking for new Asset Management system Aladdin
- Roll-out high-performance computing and credit checking to OpenShift
- Strengthen the team's DevSec Ops
- Smaller system enhancements
Must haves:
- Very strong working development experience (full stack development) using C# and .Net
- Proven business knowledge and experience - around 5+ years of experience spent within a business environment (ideal banking sector) with exposure to the following areas: Risk Management, Security, financial instruments, and measurements
- Strong working knowledge of common algorithms and data structures and design patterns (candidates should know design patterns: orientation, structure, etc)
- Experience with working with databases (Oracle, SQL)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with technologies such as: OpenShift and Microservices
