DWH / MS SQL Developer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 8+ years of professional experience with Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence projects
- Profound background in MS SQL partitioning, column store and large volumes of data (TBs) as well as solid knowledge of SSAS and SSIS
- Practical knowledge and experience with relational, dimensional, multi-dimensional and OLAP techniques & technology
- A thorough understanding of Microsoft BI suite such as SSIS and SQL Server, plus interfaces such as TOAD, TeamCity and SQL Developer
- Any exposure to evolving concepts in MS BI 2019- Power BI, Column Store, Tabular Model, etc. is preferred
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Working on Business Information Reporting Application within a scaled agile project team while participating in delivering software changes to stakeholders and supporting the application in production
- Participating in Client Reporting, Product Reporting and Performance Reporting processes
- Providing a framework and environment of tools and capabilities for business users to develop ad-hoc solutions according to demand from end users
- Collaborating with team members and project management team off-shore and on challenging requirements
