We are looking for an experienced Python scientific software developer to further expand the scientific computational frameworks that help data scientists analyze the large-scale data from digital devices handed out in clinical studies. The successful candidate will design, implement, document and test the aforementioned algorithms that will be applied in the field of digital biomarkers. The work will be done as a part of the small scientific development team of software engineers that collaborates closely with data analysts and other stakeholders within the broader team. Ultimately, the candidate will be responsible for delivering a high quality code that will impact the drug discovery process and lives of millions of patients.
Ihre Aufgaben:
Develop and implement the Back End scientific software used in cutting-edge data science of Digital Biomarkers
Develop and implement signal processing and data analysis pipelines for processing large amounts of sensor data and meta data collected in clinical trials according to best coding practices
Develop and implement tools for data visualization, data versioning and data analysis for non-expert users
Extend and maintain documentation and unit tests around the new and existing code
Proactively collaborate with a team comprising data scientists, software engineers, and life science experts
Ihr Profil:
Master degree with emphasis on coursework of a quantitative nature (eg Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer/Computational Sciences)
More than 3 years of proven Python software development experience and non-academic working
Expert knowledge of Python libraries - numpy and pandas
Sound knowledge of best software development practices: unit testing, documentation, version control
Proficiency in use of linux/bash
