My client is looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d) for an interesting project.My client is based in Zug, and is looking for a Software Developer (m/f/d). With your team you build and maintain a comprehensive ecosystem around a hardware simulator that provides the test automation infrastructure and allows automated testing using Gherkin language.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Software development within an Agile Release Train, developing frameworks, libraries, and simulations used by Roche Diagnostic Instrument Projects
- Relentless improvement of the software stack and toolchain
- Be part of a delivery team that takes care of every activity related to the design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance of a software product
- Close collaboration with internal customers (Roche SW Developers)
Must Haves:
- Web FrontEnd knowledge (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) / GNU command line (*****)
- University degree in software engineering (*****)
- Experience with git and at least one collaboration tool (github/gitlab/bitbucket)(*****)
- Experience with Linux, for example, debian packaging (**)
- Basic system administration experience with container virtualization (docker, lxd, etc.)(**)
- Writing of shell scripts (*)
- Experience with modern Python, for example, developing command-line tools
- Writing web backends
- Feels comfortable in an agile environment
- Communicative open-minded team player
- English and German wrote and spoken
Nice to haves:
- Knowledge and experience in modern C++ (C++11 or higher)
- GitLab-CI/Jenkins or CI in general
- Knowledge of modern JS frameworks (ideally Angular)
- Experience with software design patterns, principles and object-oriented design (OOD)
- Experience in projects with end to end responsibility (gathering requirements, design,
- development, testing, deployment)
- Experience in multi-process and multithreaded application development
General Information:
- Start date: 16.12.2021
- End date: 31.12.2022
- Extension: possible, depending on the situation in Q3 2022
- Workload: 100%
- Work location: Rotkreuz
- Team: 3 members highly interacting and collaborating (Scrum / SAFe)
- Home Office: is possible under agreement with the team, no full remote
- Travel: rather rare (all 3 months for 1-2 days to Spain)
