Java Developer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 7+ years of experience implementing mission critical server side application in core Java, plus expertise in designing applications using microservice architecture
- Excellent knowledge of API design and related technologies like OpenAPI, Swagger, REST and gRPC as well as familiarity with highly available, multi-threaded low latency platforms
- Well-versed with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, cloud and containerization technologies in addition to know-how of Java application frameworks
- A thorough understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns and messaging frameworks like Spring integration, Apache Camel, Kafka and ActiveMQ
- Comfortable with financial products, time series and risk management principles plus hands-on competency with Linux environments
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Acting as Senior Full stack Java Lead Developer in the Risk Management and Portfolio Optimization business
- Implementing new requirements, with a focus on scalability, architecture, stability and automated testing
- Cooperating with an international team of developers, architects and quantitative investment professionals while also leading the effort
