For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Java Developer - Microservices
In this challenging role in terms of time-line, technical and functional complexity without detailed requirements, with an ability to define more detailed requirements through discussions with the team, UX and digitalization. Very strong communication skills are needed in terms of working efficiently with the Team.
Your Qualifications:
- Long time experience working within the latest Java ecosystem (Java 8-11 / Spring Boot)
- Well versed working on highly performant mission-critical server-side applications
- Able to implement APIs using technologies such as OpenAPI and REST
- Familiar working in demanding environments within Insurance, Industrial or preferably banking
- Good Team Player with Very strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Translating higher level business requirements into implementable lower level requirements
- Implementation of requirements, with focus on architecture, scalability, stability, automated testing
- Interaction with an international team of developers, architects, quantitative investment professionals
- Exposure to cutting-edge technologies and approaches for portfolio construction, trade recommendation, asset allocation
