Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Data Engineer with strong knowledge of SQL for a contract opportunity in Zurich.
Main responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain data framework that makes the data accessible and ready for further use
- Gathering business requirements, design and implement solutions based on SAP BO/Oracle/Informatica Powercenter
- Design, develop, test, and document new/changes to integration and reporting applications
- Translate business requirements into data and engineering specifications
- Perform 2nd & 3rd level support for applications under responsibility
Your skills:
- Expert SQL skills, preferably in large enterprise environments
- Very good experience in integration and reporting applications
- Good experience in meta-data driven applications and generic data models
- Data preparation for reporting/analytics and visualization tools (eg Tableau, Power BI)
- Very good experience with ETL tool PowerCenter by Informatica
- Very good experience with Oracle (or similar RDBMS)
- 5-10 years general experience with Data Architecture/Data Engineering
- Experience in banking or financial industry
- Good experience with reporting tool Business Objects by SAP
- Hands on experience with Tableau
