Solution Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years of general work experience with Data Architecture or Data Engineering
- Expert level skills with SQL, preferably in a large enterprise environment together with expertise in integration and reporting applications
- Know-how of meta-data driven applications and generic data models as well as familiarity with data preparation for reporting and analytics as well as visualisation tools like Tableau and PowerBI
- Good experience with ETL tool PowerCenter by Informatica paired with solid understanding of Oracle or similar RDBMS
- Expertise in banking or financial industry and with reporting tools by SAP is a plus
- Languages: German fluent in written and spoken and Good English skills
Your tasks:
- Developing and maintaining the data framework which makes the data accessible and ready for further use
- Gathering business requirements, designing and implementing solutions based on SAP BO, Oracle and Informatica Powercenter
- Designing, developing, testing and documenting new changes to integration and reporting applications
- Translating business requirements into data and engineering specifications
- Performing 2nd and 3rd level support for applications under responsibility
