We are supporting our client, a private bank in Zurich, in their search for a Solution Engineer.Tasks
- Develop and maintain data framework that makes the data accessible and ready for further use
- Gathering business requirements, design and implement solutions based on SAP BO / Oracle / Informatica Powercenter
- Design, develop, test, and document new / changes to integration and reporting applications
- Translate business requirements into data and engineering specifications
- Perform 2nd & 3rd level support for applications under responsibility
Requirements
- Expert SQL skills, preferably in large enterprise environments
- Very good experience in integration and reporting applications
- Good experience in meta-data driven applications and generic data models
- Data preparation for reporting/analytics and visualization tools (e.g Tableau, Power BI)
- Very good experience with ETL tool PowerCenter by Informatica
- Very good experience with Oracle (or similar RDBMS)
- 5-10 years general experience with Data Architecture / Data Engineering
- Preferable:
- Experience in banking or financial industry
- Good experience with reporting tool Business Objects by SAP
- Hands on experience with Tableau
- Higher education (e.g. “Fachhochschule”,“Wirtschaftsinformatik”)
- German is absolutely necessary

- Englisch
