My client, a large institution in the financial sector, is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer (m/f/d). In this project you will mainly be responsible for building up and running the automation using AzureDevOps. This includes on premise and cloud based environments, which need to be set up and maintained.Your tasks:
- Using AzureDevOps to implement automation (CI/CD processes)
- Configuration, build and application deployment for a set of Docker/Python applications on Linux
- Application monitoring and troubleshooting
- Conduct systems test for performance, availability and security
- Working with the IT Operations team
- Working in architecting/developing solutions with the development team
- Working with the team of very skilled numerical programmers
Your Profile:
- Knowledge of Docker, Linux and Python is essential
- Expert in code deployment tools (SaltStack or Ansible)
- Working experience and understanding with Microsoft Azure (preference) or other cloud providers
- Understanding of Agile principles and of Git and DevOps
- 5+ years' experience as a DevOps Engineer
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
