Software Engineer - Data models vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 5+ years strong experience in a similar role as well as in projects
- Expertise in functional and object oriented programming languages like Kotlin, Scala or Java
- Solid knowledge of technologies used combined with a strong understanding of software
- Well-versed with advising and engineering plus a very structured work method and high capability for conceptualization and formalization
- Degree in Computer Science or a similar field
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German would be an advantage
Your tasks:
- Analysing the existing solution for a Domain Specific Language implementation written in Kotlin
- Formalising the current solution so that it can be evaluated or extended for feasibility
- Gathering requirements from business stakeholders, analysing requirements and executing a GAP analysis
- Proposing a formalized solution for the extension of the existing functionality or finding a new solution
- Designing components and their interface definition while also executing necessary software implementation and ensuring the documentation is up to date
- Creating or choosing appropriate methods, techniques, standards, guidelines and tools for software development as necessary
