Our client is urgently looking for a R/Python Developer to join their team based in Zurich, Switzerland.
The candidate for this role is required to have industry experience (4+ years) of working with R/Python based solutions within large and complex IT projects.
Job Description:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or relevant field
High proficiency in R and Python programming, including extensive hands-on experiences in the following technologies:
RStudio
tidyverse
devtools
R6
JupyterHub
Pandas
Scikit-learn
Numpy
Matplotlib
Highly proficient with version control systems like Git
Experience of working/implementation of CI/CD (Continuous Integration + Deployment) pipelines using DevOps Toolchain - Jenkins, Transporter, Cucumber, Selenium etc.
Hands-on experience in data analysis and statistical modelling. Familiarity with concepts such as data manipulation using Dataframes, plotting, regression, classification, clustering, etc.
Experience with advanced SQL features - including sub-queries, nested queries, common table expressions, etc.
Experience with connecting to databases from Python/R
Good understanding of and experience working with Linux and Bash Scripting
Experience in Big Data technologies like Spark, Hive, Impala, Hue, HBase, etc. preferred
Knowledge of Airflow/Control-M or other data workflow orchestration tools preferred
