Java Senior Software Engineer vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 4+ years of experience as Java developer including developing and maintaining medium sized, interconnected Java based server applications using SOAP or REST
- Expertise with Spring framework, IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE and with Java build tools such as Maven or Ant
- Familiarity with the full development lifecycle of a Java 11 Spring based web application
- Knowhow of Git SCM and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Good understanding of certificate based authentication and single sign on technologies
- Practice with database development using Oracle is beneficial
- Awareness of REST services and experience with TIBCO EMS or IBM MQ is desirable
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken, German is a plus
Your tasks:
- Assisting in delivering a front office trading application as analyst and developer
- Working in a heterogeneous Linux and Windows environment
- Developing and deploying application code using internal tools and practices
- Performing requirements analysis
- Maintaining deployed applications and developing new software where required
- Engaging with stakeholders to complete required software features
