System Engineer - BigData Migration vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- 4+ years of experience in IT role in enterprise environment, as well as 2+ years of experience in Front-end development using SpringBoot or React
- Solid working experience with Big Data - Hadoop tech stack in an agile environment
- Knowhow of ETL tools & SQL or migration is a big plus
- Master's degree in information management, computer science or equivalent field
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Debugging and fixing issues on the fly in UAT or Pre-Prod and Prod environments
- Managing technical connectivity changes in background reports with minimal impact to end users
- Adapting the old code and tech stack and reusing for the new Haddoop technology
- Re-engineering and getting deep into code to come up with best migration approach on each use case basis
- Analyzing existing Reports and consolidation of Data Source
