Platform / DevOps Engineer for Application Platform (Java / Web infrastructure)Project / Role: For our customer from the Zurich area we are currently looking for two experienced Platform / DevOps Engineer for Application Platform like Java / Web Infrastructure with the contract duration of 12 months.
Main tasks:
As a member of the Linux Application Platform Engineering Team you are responsible for engineering and the operation of the central application platform (Java EE and Web infrastructure) is jointly responsible for this.
-Supporting the projects in the integration of their applications
-Supervision and consulting of projects in questions of: system architecture, integration, System automation, performance, security and analysis/diagnosis.
-Cooperation in infrastructure projects for the areas WebSSO / WAF, API Gateway
-Electronic document management
Requirements:
-We expect a computer science education like FH, ETH or Uni
-Several years of experience as software developer and with agile development methods
-You have a DevOps mentality
-A quick perceptive faculty
-Candidate should have Analytical and conceptual thinking
-Independent and precise working methods
-Readiness to be on call and to work outside normal working hours (Evening, weekend)
-Very high-quality awareness
-resilient, team/customer-oriented and communicative personality
-Good development skills in Java and Python
-Good knowledge of automated CI/CD pipelines and their tools
-Profound knowledge of/in
-Linux/RHEL, Shell Scripting, Ansible, Git, Web- & Application Server (mainly Java EE and SE), Network, DNS, Loadbalancer, TLS/X.509, HTTP
-Extensive experience in the integration of software and operation of application platforms and systems
Nice to Haves:
-API Gateway, WAF, IBM WebSphere Application Server and , Version
-Cloud Technologies In methods of software development and as software developer
Languages:
-German: Business fluent (B2, C1)
-English: Very good knowledge (C1, C2)
