For a project at our client‘s site, an international financial company based in Zürich, we are looking for an experienced


Test Automation Engineer - Selenium WebDriver / REST API

Please note, that Switzerland has stopped issuing visas until 15 June 2020 due to Covid-19 situation (present stage).



Your Qualifications:


  • 3 years’ experience as Test Automation Engineer in a banking environment including planning, assessments, script development and maintenance

  • Experience of testing in JIRA, Agile methodology and DevOps

  • Knowledge in load and performance testing (JMeter)

  • Experience with Maven, Jenkins Cl as well as with common Test runners like JUnit/TestNG

  • Experience with BDD framework, Gherkin ("Given-When-Then") format, and Cucumber framework

  • Web test automation skills and hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver (2.x or above)

  • Strong skills in WebServices test automation REST API (using Apa cheHttp/RestA ssured), and SOAP/XML (00M4J,W3CJ)

  • Solid knowhow in database testing

  • Tricentis qTest experience is a nice to have

  • Fluent in English



Your Responsibilities:


  • Testing and test automation using a wide variety of tools focusing on automation Migration Projects

  • Definition of test plans, review test cases and run test execution as well as evaluation and creation of bugs and test reports

  • Drive continuous improvements by creating, executing and re-visioning manual test cases in order to increase automation

  • Accompaniment of our products and projects in their life cycle, taking responsibility for testing plus analysis of problems and help defining requirements in close cooperation with other Teams
