A Swiss Private Banking is looking for a Solution Architect Channels.The bank has embarked on an ambitious digital transformation initiative to bring the digital client experience to the next level. The initiative encompasses the private banking and intermediaries businesses globally. They are growing the team and are looking for individuals who want to actively shape the digital future of the bank, the international reference in Private Banking. As a member of the Front Application delivery unit, you will act as a Solution Architect for projects in a dynamic and fast-paced team. You will work closely with project managers, software developers, business analysts and operations experts to drive the delivery of the roadmap for the journey ahead of us, to enable further digital services and offerings to our clients.

Tasks:
- Solution Architect within the Channels domain, ensuring delivery of artefacts defined along BJB project methodology (solution design, security concepts).
- Stakeholder Management, incl. strong interaction with our partners from central architecture, security et al.
- Specification of conceptual and logical architectures to meet strategic business, financial, and technology objectives.
- Assist solution development and potentially demonstrate technical feasibility through mechanisms including proof-of-concepts within bank providers.
- Provide comprehensive architectural support for all aspects to ensure proposed solutions are technically viable and also consider harmonization in landscape wherever applicable.
- Closely with business and technical teams to ensure successful rollout of the solution.
- Validate functional and non-functional requirements and make appropriate design adjustments, as well as provide effort estimates to support project management.
- Conduct evaluation of new technology platforms and components and be the primary interface to product /technology vendors.
- Develop standards, patterns, and best practices for reuse and acceleration.
Requirements:
- Higher education in computer science / Business Informatics.
- Demonstrated expertise as a Solution or Software Architect in digital channel projects.
- Strong experience with IT security standards and integration of client-facing web applications.
- Strong expertise with web application architecture and development.
- Ability to define, document and/or validate logical and physical architecture for a proposed solution, applying all relevant enterprise and bank defined standards.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into multiple architectural “views” aimed at varying audiences.
- A proven track record in delivering projects of various sizes (functional complexity and/or resources).
- Experience with modern UI frameworks (e.g. React), (web) authentication methods (e.g. SAML, OAuth, or Kerberos), and integration technologies (e.g. REST, MQ, streaming).
- Expert knowledge in IT operations, Agile Methodology, Software Development Lifecycle, and Systems Architectures.
- Knowledge in DevOps.
- Fluenty in English.
Nice to have
- Strong expertise with regard to eChannels (e.g. eBanking, Mobile Banking, etc.).
- Financial industries background.
- Working knowledge with one of the programming languages Java, HTML5, JavaScript, SOAP and restful services.
- Knowledge of Unix, bash, SQL, Jira, Confluence or Wiki, Sharepoint.
- TOGAF.
- German Skills.
