For our client in the Frankfurt area we are currently searching for a Technical Test Automation Expert (m/f).Responsibilities:
- Ensure quality test automation in a Scrum Team
- Plan, design and execute tests across multiple systems (Hadoop)
- Create, maintain, monitor and run automated test cases, functional tests as well as E2E tests with focus on API- and Webservice Connectivity Testing and complex workflow scenarios.
- Providing clear and constructive feedback and creating opportunities for learning and growth
- Conduct end-to-end data migration testing against functional criteria in agile and waterfall environments in both manual and automated scenarios.
- Set-up concept for test data extraction/generation and test automation
- Prepare xUnit and Selenium based test framework for utilization in agile development teams; Embed test automation tool chain into our build and deployment pipeline
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development and testing
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience with Test Automation
- ISTQB Test Foundation desirable
- Certified Agile Tester Certification desirable
- ITIL Foundation desirable
- Experience with financial industry
- Practical knowledge of continuous integration, automated testing, deployment, monitoring and related tools (preferably Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Selenium and xUnit)
- Experience with Rest, SOAP, XML, Axis
- Experience with Tosca / HP-QC / Jira
- Experience with at least one script / coding language (e.g. Java, Python)
- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks from scratch
- Knowledge of TDD, BDD, continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Comfortable in a Unix/Linux environment
- Experience in cloud platforms (incl. Azure Germany Cloud)
- Experience in agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban) and agile tools
- Experience in working in international teams, preferably in an English-speaking environment
- Fluent English (CEFR level B2 or better); fluent German is an advantage
