Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 3082 for an Engagement / Project Manager (f/m) in the Banking Area.Project environment
The DBaaS program of a global Swiss Bank has a target to achieve 2,000 DBs on DBaaS by the end of 2015. The Engagement Manager will be responsible for driving migrations and meeting targets to realise benefits defined in the business case. The Engagement Manager will work with the line of business to plan migrations and face off to the project team to ensure all the components are in place to execute the migration.
Tasks
• Drive day to day demand and migrations in order to achieve migration targets.
• Deal with day to day challenges with migration planning.
• Work with ISL's to ensure DBaaS candidates are forecasted, requested, and executed.
• Provide ISL's / LoB's updates on DBaaS / Q&A.
• Highlight risks / issues / road blocks.
• Migration readiness & migration scheduling.
• Decommissioning and ensure standard tools and processes are used.
• Support ISL's with analysis work.
Requirements
• Have a broad understanding of Database technology and the financial sector.
• Ideally have 5+ years' experience in Project Management, Delivery / Transformation Projects and Relationship Management.
• Demonstrate technical knowledge in Database services (Oracle) and IT Infrastructure.
• Demonstrate strong analysis experience and problem solving.
• Demonstrate strong experience in preparing presentations, running meetings and communication. Very good migration skills.
• Demonstrate experience to meet targets in a pressurised environment.
• Proactive approach to work.
• Have strong client service orientation, teamwork skills and influencing / negotiation skills.
• Be accustomed to working independently, innovate and work to deadlines.
• Ability to understand the technical details, yet skilled to influence management.
• Have proven interpersonal and communications skills to establish excellent working relationships with a wide variety of people.
• Be structured, systematic and analytical in their approach.
• In addition the candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a Technology field although this is not a mandatory requirement.
• Fluent in German and English.
