Data Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Master's Degree or PhD in computational science, life sciences, statistics, mathematics, physics or equivalent field
- 2+ years of practical experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical sector
- Familiar working with complex numerical challenges and tasks
- Proficiency in Python, R, and Matlab
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Investigating sensor usage to quantify disease and enabling the use of new technologies
- Analysing and integrating data from mobile medical devices, real-world data such as medical claims and large multivariate clinical data sets
- Using modern analysis techniques to improve how medically relevant information is extracted from this plethora of data
- Evaluating and improving the performance of new and published algorithms on clinical datasets
- Establishing software frameworks for efficient and effective data exploration and scientific publication of results
