Bosshard & Partner is looking with Mandate 3558 for a Senior Business Analyst (f/m) Investment Management.Project environment
A Swiss Private Bank is looking for a Business Analyst. As part of the ‘Your Wealth’ Initiative, the service promise and offering to Advisory Clients is significantly enhanced with capabilities such as automated portfolio monitoring, event/threshold based alerting and instrument switches/re-investment proposals. After the successful rollout in Switzerland the program is now preparing the deployment to international booking centres.
The candidate will strengthen the existing small Business Analysis Team (2), covering a wide range of topics on Advisory / Investment Management and Service Model Transition Processes.
The person will likely also work on the transition to the target investment management solution (being shaped at the moment). Furthermore current regulatory initiatives (adoption of MIFID II) will influence the book of work.
Tasks
• Be able to conceptualise business requirements / ideas (on various level of detail) and turn them into detailed IT system specifications.
• Drive requirements prioritization, facilitate discussions. Be able to align diverging views of the different parties involved into a mutually accepted solution.
• Closely liaise with key stakeholders in Front units (Relationship Managers, Investment Solution & Advisory) and IT functions (Application Development, Testing, IT Service Owners), Business Responsible of the Application.
• Propose business concepts, process adaptions.
• Contribute to test case design.
• Assist in the preparation of training and support material.
Requirements
• Relevant education or experience.
• Excellent know-how of investment management processes and solutions, including product suitability aspects, portfolio risk management, valuations, client output.
• Sound understanding of Business & IT Architecture principles.
• Relevant regulatory knowledge (MIFID II) would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills, able to steer.
• Able to document business concepts, prepare specifications, proposals.
• High degree of familiarity with projects in a global context (multiple locations, cross-cultural teams)
• Self-starter with good presentation skills.
• Fluent in English, German strongly preferred (on a level which does allow the participation in discussions and to liaise with business stakeholders).
