German Speaking Java Developer (Luzern)
On behalf of our client, a leading global bank, we are looking for an English and German speaking Java Software Engineer. The successful candidate will design and implement new functionality. For this contract position based in Luzern, Switzerland, our client is looking for a candidate who can start as soon as possible.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Development of Java business logic components with EJB, JPA, JMS
- Development of Java User Interfaces with JSF
- Prepare and execute unit and system tests
- Technical documentation of all delivered artifacts
- Analysis and fixing of defects and test environment issues
- Create solution proposals and estimations
You must possess:
- 6 years + hands-on experience in development of web applications with Java
- Good knowledge of EJB 3.x, JSF 2.x, JMS, JPA, JUnit, SQL, XML, Web-Services
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Experience with agile and test driven development
- Experience with Eclipse IDE, SVN
- Experience with Oracle DB, Linux/Unix Shell, Corba, Maven, Ant, Weblogic
- Excellent analytical and communication skills in German and English
- Experience with agile methodologies
