For a long term project at our bank client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Lead Java Developer / Solution Architect (3212)

As part of the cross border solution team, cross border office communication and lead management solution is a strategic platform for managing cross border PB business.
The Team uses Java, Spring JDBC, XML, XSLT, REST services, JMS, SMTP,LDAP, IMAP, FTPS, JQuery, Oracle and Linux technologies to deliver IT solution to the business.

Responsibilities
- The role is for a senior java developer/solution architect primarily responsible for developing java and web based applications
- Engage with the business to capture and refine requirements
- Lead technical discussions during requirement gatherings and designing and implementing the solutions
- Collaborate across various IT teams for the application integration and deployment.
- Provide 3rd level support for the application.

Required skills:
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or Mathematics
- 5+ years of IT solution development experience
- 2+ years of software solution architecture experience
- Experience in Java, JPA, EJB and RDBMS technologies
- Experience in HTML, JavaScript, JQuery and other web technologies
- Experience in integrating the application using different technologies (FTPS, IMAP, SMTP, LDAP and JMS) would be advantage
- Experience in Jasper reports would be an advantage
- Knowledge in OpenSSL, Digital signatures, encryption technologies is an advantage
- Experience in working in a process and procedure oriented organization would be an advantage
- Good team player
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German would be advantage
- Some knowledge in workflow Management tools (Activiti, jBPM) would be added advantage
