DB Lead Engineer for developing and supporting various applications wanted for our client, an international bank in Zurich.
Your tasks:
- Analysing, validating and implementing of customer requirements in coordination with the team
- Designing, implementing and maintaining databases (Oracle and MS Access)
- Writing specifications as well as implementing new requirements
- Optimizing advanced database queries to retrieve and manipulate information for reporting purposes
- Creating technical and business documentation
Your experience/skills:
- Long-term experience in Datamodelling and PL/SQL programming
- Expertise in Java/JEE, Design-Patterns, XML/XML Schema, JSF, C/C++ and Shell (Unix)
- Good knowledge with database, eg Oracle, Hibernate, SQL, MS Access
- Solid know-how of the platforms Windows, Solaris and Linux
- Languages: fluent English both written and spoken, German would be a big plus
