Beschreibung

For a project at our bank client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced Application Supporter (3190)

Tasks:

  • Be responsible for, and master multiple subject matter areas of responsibilities
  • Be responsible for, and master major incidents and escalations
  • Identify and document best practices within their subject matter areas of expertise
  • Provide continuous process improvement suggestions
  • Maintain and document Standard Operating Procedures
  • Analyse issues and incidents
  • Develop workarounds
  • Create and run ad hoc reports
  • Opportunity to take over special tasks within the team
  • On call and weekend work required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or completed apprenticeship in IT/Computer Science
  • Excellent analytical skills, keen perception and accurate working
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Must be able to adapt and create non-standard approaches to problem solving
  • Solid knowledge in Unix/Linux, SQL and PL/SQL (Oracle)
  • Good knowledge of Oracle Forms
  • Basic knowledge of Unix command
  • Good knowledge of ETL processes (Informatica Power Center) and Scheduler (Control-M)
  • Good understanding in role/access rights concepts
  • Excel, Visual Basic, Access is a Plus
  • IT Customer Service/Problem Management Resolution experience
  • English is a must, German is an advantage
