Our client, a prestigious financial institution in the Zürich area, is currently looking for a senior Oracle DBA for a long term project
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain Oracle databases and Oracle database systems environment
- Monitor and optimize performance of the database, plan for backup and recovery of the database
- Provide consulting for new projects
- Design solutions for the database infrastructure
- Communication with database support teams as well as keeping in touch with the business side
- On Call Duty where necessary
Required skills:
- 10+ years experience in Oracle database administration
- Financial institution experience
- Experience with Linux and Unix operating systems
- RDBMS, SQL and RAC
- Ability to communicate with different teams
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
