Test Engineer with Software Engineering background who is passionate about developing software to automate tasks for our client in telecommunication sector in Zurich.
Your tasks:
- Testing of various customers' solutions
- Identifying potential defects in products
- Developing automated tests
- Debugging software on operating systems (Windows, Mac, and Linux)
- Mainly focusing on Desktop applications, but also on different layers (eg network, operating system, Front End)
Your experience/skills:
- In-depth knowledge with Object Oriented Design and Design Patterns, especially proficiency in Java programming, with proven experience records
- Expertise in developing Client Server solutions using REST API
- Excellent knowledge of Unix tools, eg, diff, tcpdump, scp, ssh, and tshark, Wireshark
- Solid know-how of HTML, Javascript, HTTP and JSON as well as security, eg, encryption schemes, usual security flaws
- Languages: fluent English and German both written and spoken
