For our client in Zurich we are looking for a temporary employee for 3 months with possibility of extension.
Role Purpose:
Delivering excellent client experience requires a state of the art core banking system providing fully integrated, reliable and flexible services for all of its users. In order to maintain and continuously improve its core banking system the client is seeking for Business Analyst professionals who are willing to grow into an important role in a multi-national culture, and dedicate their energy to best in class service for the bank's business across all departments.
Key Accountabilities:
Business analysis, specification and implementation in the following areas of the core banking application Avaloq:
-Multi GAAP Accounting (IFRS, Swiss GAAP, French GAAP)
-Proficient with Booking rules, Position Rules, Balance Rules, Credit Metatypes, Collateral Rules and Financing Engine
-Market Risk (margining, pricing, asset liability management)
-Regulatory Reporting such as Basel 3
Management Skills - able to lead small project teams.
Ability to interact with our international Stakeholders from the UK, Asia, and Switzerland
Incident management and 3rd level support
Testing activities during release cycles
Maintenance of interfaces and 3rd party applications in co-operation with providers
Business and technical end user consulting
Project management activities for small and mid-sized IT projects
Skills:
University degree or equivalent, preferably in computer science or engineering
Fluent in English, proficiency in German is an advantage
Analytical, systematic and efficient work ethic with the ability to work under pressure
Entrepreneurship, ability to deliver comprehensive solutions independently
Required Experience:
Excellent General Understanding of Banking Products and Processes.
Avaloq Certified Professional with a minimum 5+ years experience
Proficient in PL/SQL/Toad
