For one of our prestigious clients we are looking for an expert in Core Java with previous experience in trading to join their small team.
Responsibilities:
- Working in a small team of four people whose focus is FX trading desk.
- Developing applications and tools to support the trading desks
Requirements:
- Many years of experience in OOP
- Technical expertise in Core Java and related libraries, Maven, Spring, Eclipse, Visual C++, QT
- Messaging between services using JSON and Thrift on ActiveMQ and MQ - preferable
- Expertise in modelling relational databases, Oracle, Hibernate, JBDC
- Good understanding of financial products, eg options and derivatives
- Experience in implementing complex mathematical algorithms
- Strong interest in the quant area
- Flexible, self-started and energetic developer
- Work under pressure and delivering excellent results is a must
- English and German are a must
