For our bank client site in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced

Senior PL/1-Developer with DB2 experience (3092)

Key Skills and Background:
- PL/1, ChangeMan and JCL development at an expert level
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Command of conceptual Database Modelling as well as knowledge of DB2 technology
- Practical knowledge of scripting SQL queries
- Fluent in English, German is a distinct plus

About the project:
The FoF application is a project providing Transaction Monitoring for Business Information & Systems and for Compliance AML.
Transaction Monitoring includes creating inflows and outflows and to Monitoring this against the AML Rules for single flow and turnovers.
FoF provides a framework and environment of tools and capabilities for business users to create background reports for unusual flows, to recognize resident non domiciled remittance (RnD Rem) Flows for Tax and to deliver Key figures for NetNewAsset Reports.
Corba Services and PL/1 Batch Processes are used extensively in the project with DB2 used as the primary database.

About the client:
The Business Information & Systems Applications team serves the Private Banking unit of the bank with DWH services, Business Intelligence Solutions and Sales and Monitoring tools for the Private Banking salesforce (around 6000 Relationship Manager's).
The team provides IT services as maintenance, enhancement and development for Flow of Funds (FoF) applications.
The developed application provides functionality in key areas such transaction monitoring for Anti Money Laundering (AML), standard and ad hoc regulatory reporting on Management level, flexible and audit trailed changing of thresholds and tuning of surveillance algorithms.
