For our client, an international bank based in Switzerland, Swisslinx are looking for a VMware Engineer.
This is a 6 month contract starting ASAP with a strong likelihood of extension.
The ideal candidate will have excellent understanding of VMware vSphere technologies and a proven background
in build design, automation and Scripting. In addition, this role will have a large amount of customer contact.
Main responsabilities are the following:
Writing code against the VMware API and SDK
Writing code such as Windows Services and GUI using .NET languages (eg C#)
Designing scalable multi-location virtual infrastructure platforms
In order to be considered you will possess the following skills:
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within banking
Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere technologies and server automation concepts.
Experience designing and operating enterprise level virtualisation solutions
Strong experience in Scripting and automating repeatable processes (Linux Shell and Powershell)
Experience in the automation of Server provisioning in an enterprise environment.
Excellent communication in English, German is a plus
