Sybase and Sql Database Developer to develop a strategic platform for our client, a major bank in Zurich.
Your tasks:
- Developing and maintaining of Sybase database queries and stored procedures as well as data feeds to downstream systems and processing of feeds from upstream system
- Developing of batch jobs
- Documenting of database schema, batch jobs and processes
- Managing of reports and Crystal reporting templates
- Working closely with the development teams, testing teams and business users in all regions throughout the life cycle of projects
Your experience/skills
- Minimum 2 years experience in working in a development team with multiple simultaneous software development projects
- Solid know-how of supporting and releasing software into mission critical global systems
- Expertise of database development including SQL, stored procedures, preferably using Sybase or SQL Server, Unix
- Familiar with relational database concepts including Datamodelling, performance tuning
- Fluent English both written and spoken
