A major financial services business is searching for a talented developer to take up a contract position in Zürich.
Although this is an initial 6-month contract, the wider project is scheduled to run until mid-2017. For the right candidate there is a strong likelihood of regular extensions throughout this period.
It is important that the successful candidate can communicate in both English and (Swiss) German fluently.
The latest possible start date for this position is 1st November, so we can only consider candidates who are available to start on/before this date.
Other key requirements in order to be considered for this role are listed below:
* +5 years' hands-on experience of writing Unix/Linux scrips, developing in Java/JEE
* Excellent understanding of SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, and Linux/Unix
* Exposure to configuration management/development tools (eg: SVN, eclipse, Toad, Tectia)
Any candidates with additional experience or skills in the following areas will be at a distinct advantage:
* Industry exposure to JMS, Hibernate, Spring
* Experience in developing with WebLogic
* Knowledge on Java/J2EE build and deployment Scripting using ANT, Maven
* Knowledge of collateral management/securities lending/OTC derivatives
