For an international financial institution in Zurich we are seeking a highly motivated professional to take up the following challenge:
Front Office Production Support (Contract)
Job Description
- Troubleshoot highly technical problems in a mission critical production environment - Front Office applications in the Credit Risk area
- Assess and analyse source code in order to resolve problems and autonomously perform code upgrades
- Organize and lead multi-functional teams during customer service disruptions, configuration management, new feature deployment and new product implementations
- Be responsible for and master multiple subject matter areas of responsibilities
- Maintain and document Standard Operating Procedures
- Provide continuous process improvement suggestions
- Identify and document best practices within the subject matter areas of expertise
- Provide this 2nd level support in shifts and provide on-call duty on rotation
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
- Minimum 5+ years' experience in a 2nd level support position; IT Customer Service/Problem Management Resolution experience
- Excellent experience in supporting Front Office Applications, at least bring experience in Middle Office
- Very good Trading background knowledge
- In-depth knowledge in the UNIX environment and SQL
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to adapt and create non-standard approaches to problem solving
- Passionate support personality
- Fluent English is a MUST, German is beneficial
Contract Details
- Start: ASAP
- Duration: 6 months (extension highly possible)
- Daily Rate: CHF 625.- all inclusive
- Location: Zurich
