Application Support Analyst/1 - 2 year contract/Zurich, Switzerland/350 CHF - 440 CHF per day
A leading multinational computer technology company has secured a long term managed services agreement with one of the world's leading investment banks and are hiring a team of 16 Application Support Analysts. As this is a long term engagement they are able to offer up to a 2 year contract however would be open to offering a shorter term contract if it suits.
As Support Analyst, within the Services team you will focus on specific applications within the Investment Bank Operations application portfolio and will have close contact with Development teams. It is therefore crucial that the you become familiar with the production environment where the applications run, the technologies utilized and also be able to understand the application workflows.
Essential skills
- L1 & L2 Application Support experience
- UNIX/Scripting languages (Shell/Perl)
- Oracle PL/SQL
Desirable skills
- ITIL knowledge/certification
- Java, J2EE
- Some experience on Mainframes (Cobol, CICS, JCL)
- Some experience in Informatics or Business Objects or COGNOS
- Some experience Messaging tools TIBCO EMS or MQ or Web methods
- Some experience in Autosys
- ServiceNow knowledge
