Java Software Developer w/JEE, JSF (3034)
As a member of CRO IT Methodology, you will have the opportunity to join a dynamic and exciting environment. Here there is the opportunity to learn multiple aspects of Private Banking Risk Management in an international team. We are looking for a senior developer and team lead which develops Trading Limits System (TLS), which is the main Private Banking system used to monitor credit risk limits usage and notify controllers when the limit is exceeded.
It has the primary role of keeping traders and trading desks in agreed trading limits to avoid putting the bank at additional risk.
Objectives for candidates include:
- Working with solution architect and business analyst on design of new functionalities
- Implementation of new features according to design
- Making sure that the code is errors free
- Drive the change of development process towards market standards
- Work with other developers across the department on best practices
Key skills required:
- 5 years of experience of Java development
- Strong Knowledge of Java EE in multi-tier architecture and multi-threaded environments in general and particularly on Java EE Web Tier (JSF) and Web Services area (Soap as well as REST/RESTFul web services)
- Ideally some experience with Oracle PL/SQL
- Knowledge of Spring framework
- Maven, SVN, TeamCity
- A track record of using object-oriented programming techniques
- An applied understanding of the full software development life cycle
- Excellent communication skills & fluency in English (working language)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Experience in work on Unix environment, WebLogic Servers and Enterprise Architect would be a plus
