On behalf of our client, one of the most established financial institutions worldwide, Swisslinx are looking for an experienced German speaking Senior IT Project Manager with a strong track record in vendor management and managing large projects.
Senior IT Project Manager, Banking, English and German (Contract, Zurich)
- Challenging and interesting position in the Trade Finance and Factoring area
- Responsibility to proactively plan, manage and control the project Trade Finance Way Forward in terms of time, cost, quality and ensure adherence to deadlines with agile development methods
- Manage multiple dependencies to related applications and ensure decommissioning of high critical end of life application
- Accountability for issuing project status reports and for ensuring profound and timely information to all involved stakeholders
- Platform and environment to manage project risks, to establish all necessary project documentation and to ensure adherence to internal project delivery processes
- Responsibility for leading and managing the project team as well as multiple stakeholders on different levels (vendor, different business areas etc.)
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following skills:
- Excellent university degree (preferably in Economics/Management, Science, Information Technology) or equivalent
- 10+ years professional experience as a project manager working on projects within the management consulting or financial services industry
- Solid Track Record in managing vendors in international organizations
- Know-how of trade finance of advantage
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, superior attention to detail, and a highly client oriented attitude
- Excel, PowerPoint, and presentation skills
- Constructive approach to your work and to a feedback culture combined with the drive to continually develop yourself and your working environment
- Fluent German and English language skills
