For our banking client here in Zurich we are looking for an experienced

Lead Business Analyst in Credit Risk w/OTC Derivatives Knowhow (3047)

The project is in our clients Private Banking department to address BCBS/IOSCO margin requirements for non-centrally cleared OTC derivatives.
The rules require all covered entities to have a bilateral exchange of initial- (IM) and variation margin (VM). The Impact to areas of the bank is currently being assessed.
The specific impact on the Credit Risk Office is the scope of this role which includes the following areas: Setting & Controlling Risk Metrics and Appetite, Credit Risk Identification, Models and Methodologies, Credit Risk Analysis and Reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of impacts of new Margin Rules on CRO business
  • Work closely with IT and Credit Risk Officers as well as Front Office stakeholders to define process changes resulting from the new margin rules
  • Drive exchange with Subject Matter Experts and coordinate project delivery to ensure that the needs of business stakeholders are addressed
  • Lead overall project delivery ensuring that all business requirements are documented, reviewed and signed off
  • Define requirements for business readiness: updated process & procedures, governance and training
  • Identify and raise risk and issues which will impact project timelines and delivery
  • Provide guidance and support to other business analysts and collaborate with work stream lead to achieve project delivery

Your qualifications:

  • Strong business analysis skills and previous experience writing business requirements documents
  • Track record as a lead Business Analyst
  • Previous Credit Risk experience in Private Banking environment
  • Proactive attitude with an ability to quickly understand business needs and the required next steps to obtain answers to outstanding questions
  • Ability to build effective working relationships with a variety of stakeholders and to create a team environment
  • Previous experience in change management working on regulatory driven projects
  • Good knowledge of OTC derivatives
  • Excellent spoken and written English, German would be highly desirable
