Accountability
-Delivery of project plans including Scope, Schedule, Budget, Risk, Resource, Comms and OCM for a successful project deployment
-Delivery of all project management deliverables/documents (according to internal project management methodology for Group IT, PMM)
-Delivery of all CSV & quality related documentation and deliverables according to CSV v5
Main Task:
-Formulates and defines scope and objectives of the project and ensures communication of project goals and business direction to management.
-Primarily responsible for delivering the project on time, within budget and meeting the strategic business and technical requirements defined at project initiation and/or through controlled, documented scope management throughout the project delivery. Writing Quality Agreement
-Manages the triple constraints [Cost, Schedule, Scope/Quality] of the project delivery, escalating to sponsors, stakeholders, Functional Mangers, and/or Sr. Mgmt, as appropriate to keep project on track, in scope, and on budget, specifically including full financial forecasting for full project and annual budget constraints.
-Identifies, schedules, and tracks to completion project deliverables, tasks, activities, and milestones.
-Identifies, documents, and accesses probability/impact, and develops a mitigation strategy, in collaboration with sponsors, stakeholders, and Solution Owners, for all project risks. For those risks realized, subsequently tracks mitigation strategies to closure for each risk that becomes an issue. For all issues realized, effectively tracks and reports on issues in progress of resolution and those successfully closed.
-Provides accurate, timely, and fit for purpose project status reports using established norms and reporting tools established for the portfolio.
-Establishes and maintains effective communication for assigned projects and with dependent projects.
-Ensures and is directly responsible for compliance with project management, portfolio management, and CSV policies, guidelines, process automation tools, and reporting standards of the portfolio. These norms will include all system validation state documentation, project documentation, resource forecasting/tracking, financial forecasting/tracking, and governance procedures for the portfolio. This Senior Project Management position will be responsible for managing application or infrastructure projects that are high complexity and risk.
-Accountable for the successful implementation of technical solutions through effective planning and execution throughout all phases of our project management methodology.
-Responsible for managing assigned resources, effectively tracking budgets and financial forecasts, creating and tracking detailed project plans, effectively leading and facilitating project meetings as well as proactively controlling project scope, risks and issues. This position is expected to provide timely status reports to all stakeholders and escalate issues to the appropriate management level.
Requirements:
-Previous experience with HP ALM (Application Life cycle Management) and HP SM (HP Service Manager) a big plus
-Language skills: Fluency in English is a Must (both in writing and speaking), French and German is a Plus
-ITIL & PM certification (PMP, Prince2) a Plus
-Working location split between Basel (company main campus) and Kaiseraugst company campus
