Our client is a major international organisation with its headquarters near Lausanne. They are looking for a Solution Architect with experience of Three-Tier web architecture, T-SQL database tuning and Application Serviers (IIS) to ensure long term stability, performance, scalability, maintainability of the Web Architecture Solution and Database Solution, keeping the technical integrity of the solutions, integrating in the customer's landscape, managing the risks and controlling cost by driving the Vendor development in the right direction and collaborates with other Architects to ensure a consistent and cohesive landscape.
You will be responsible for Architecture Design, to ensure first time right development with expected long term coherent architecture, present architecture in review Meetings, to validate the estimated effort of developments done by vendor(s), you will be also in charge of continuous improvement together with Application Development Vendor and customer's IT operation teams, Release Management, Collaboration with PM, to ensure the overall compliance of the solution with the Technical Standard, Internal Practices and processes.
Fluent in English both written and spoken, You have a solid background as:
- Solution Architect on large projects in international organizations
- Hands on experiences in Database development
- Technical Design skills on Microsoft technologies Database performance fine tuning
- Technical project coordination (onshore/offshore experience)
- Experience in conducting architecture reviews and aligning a technical solution towards best practices
- Experience in preparation/analysis of Volume and Stress tests
- Three-tier Web Architecture (Microsoft .NET)
