Our client is one of the major banks in Zurich. We are looking for an experienced Java/C# developer with good knowledge in Grails/Groovy.
Starting date: Middle of August
Contract for 6 months with possible extension
Tasks:
- Developing a GRAILS/Groovy based application to support profiling of change the bank projects and to foster the engagement process on project and product levels.
- The project affects the whole IT structure and is a global application.
- It is tightly lonked into a document management system based on Sharepoint.
- Working in a SCRUM team.
Qualifications/competencies:
- Broad skills of Java or C# and Groovy
- In depth knowledge around modern MVC frameworks (like GRAILS)
- Strong skills of modern web technologies (HTML, JavaScript, CSS)
- KnockoutJS experience
- Strong skills of Databases (SQL) and of ORM mappers (Hibernate)
- Experience with Sharpoint customizations and interfaces
- Good understanding of the solution delivery process (business analysis, requirements engineering, development, testing, deployment, methodologies like SCRUM).
- Strong experience with development on large scale applications and activities like stabilization, refactoring and testing
- Sound experience using DevOps systems like Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, SVN, Jenkins
- Bachelor or Master degree in Informatics or similar experience/education
- Experience in working within global and large organizations
- Experience in working with remote and agile teams
- Very good stakeholder management
- Very good English and German knowledge (good oral skills)
