For a project at our insurance client in Zurich we are looking for an experienced

German speaking Junior Excel Specialist with VBA Knowhow (3000)

In this role you are mainly supporting an existing team of Business Analysts that is analyzing an existing application. The team has the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.

Main job responsibilities:

- Analyze existing software to write proposals to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Design, develop and modify Macros in Excel
- Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan application specifications and layouts
- Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs

In order to be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications / knowhow :

- Deep understanding in MS Products, specifically Excel
- Some years experience with VBA
- Experience in connecting MS SQL Server with MS Office Suite via VBA
- General strong knowledge of application and software development
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software
- Fluent in German/English

This is a project position, starting in August with a contract end date at the end of the year (December 2015 - total five months contract).
