Senior Business Analyst HR - Polaris payroll integration

Senior Business Analyst is required to work on a project for a major pharmaceutical in Switzerland and support the delivery of phase 4 of the project. This will focus on non-cash cost tracking and payroll integration.

Senior Business Analyst HR International Assignees Management payroll integration

The solution supporting International Assignment management is a cloud based solution providing an electronic assignee case management system interfaced with SAP's main HR systems. It aims to deliver a better customer service, workflow/documentation management, process improvements and streamlining as well as an overall enhancement of the assignee experience.

This phase of the project focuses especially on:
Payroll integration
Cost tracking implementation

The analysis and planning will be prepared in 2015, for an implementation early 2016 and delivery by mid-2016.

The project team needs to be strengthened with dedicated resources, including an HRIT business analyst who will be able to prepare the interfacing of the solution with Internal and External Payroll systems.

Main tasks in this position:

  • Analysis of the Payroll interface between the Polaris Global Mobility system and the in-house SAP Payroll systems in Switzerland, Germany, US, and China
  • Analysis the Payroll interface between the Polaris Global Mobility system with payroll providers outside the organization for selected affiliates.
  • Design, together with the respective local payroll responsible the interfaces required.
  • Define the plan for implementation, testing and change management and delivery of the proposed solutions in 2016

Your Profile:

  • Strong experience with HR Global Mobility and International Assignment processes.
  • Experience in SAP HCM, SAP PA-PAY
  • An understanding of the nature of assignment related cost data when used for actual and shadow payroll reporting
  • A strong understanding of data validation and the importance of this in reporting to fiscal authorities
  • An understanding of payroll reconciliation processes
  • SAP Payroll experience
  • Experience with Polaris Global Mobility solution (or equivalent system).
  • Analytical, logical problem resolution skills
  • Knowledge of application systems development methodology with the ability to analyze, design, implement, test and release solutions.
  • Experience in working in a global environment
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • The business analyst will be integrated within an international project team and work under supervision of the project manager.

Location: Basel

Duration: 3 months with optional extension from 1.10.2015
