Data Centre Project Manager (Contract, Zurich)
For our client, a leading corporate with global presence, Swisslinx are urgently searching for a highly motivated and competent Data Centre Project Manager (Contract, Zurich)
The main objective of this position is ensuring internal and supplier delivery for a portfolio of activities relating to standing up new strategic data centres located in Europe, Americas and Asia, as part of a global infrastructure transformation programme.
The project manager will be responsible for internal and supplier delivery, including design, build and test as well as for the implementation of hosting management services.
Additionally, the project manager will be the conduit between what happens on the ground and the core management team.
Moreover, the project manager will ensure the supplier is taking over and enabling the contractually agreed services as well as ensuring the engagement of the client main stakeholders.
This is a contract position in Zurich.
The start date is ASAP.
The contract duration is 6 months, with possible extensions.
The project language is English.
This position will entail 25% travelling.
For this challenging role, we are searching for a Project Manager with track record of managing large data centre build, infrastructure setup and hosting management service enablement in global transformation programmes. Additionally, the candidate will have to have experience in managing in an offshore model and managing suppliers.
