On behalf of our client, one of the largest IT providers in Switzerland, we are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join their team in Zurich on a long term contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Security Engineer you take demanding tasks in the field of IT security and work actively in the design and establishment of Security Platforms.
- In a complex and challenging environment you are responsible for design, construction and testing of security platforms.
- You would also take responsibility in the service integration tasks with the customers and 3rd level support.
Requirements:
- University degree (FH/Uni ) in the region Computer science/electrical engineering.
- Several years of experience in a complex security and service delivery environment.
- Strong network and good Linux and Scripting knowledge.
- Very good knowledge of current Communication protocols (IP, IPsec, SSL, HTTP, etc.).
- In-depth knowledge of the various Security Products such as Juniper, Checkpoint, Sidewinder,BlueCoat and PaloAlto
- Great flexibility, resilience, self-reliance and initiative.
- Ready for 3rd level support (call service ).
- Fluent in English. Good knowledge of German is a strong plus.
