For a six months project at our client, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experiencedSoftware-Developer w/ SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL and PowerCenter ETL Experience (2951)
In this role you are responsible for the ongoing development of a Leads Management System for client's (Private Banking) Relationship Managers. The application requires significant extension to cover (in the short-medium term) amalgamation of data sources.
Your responsibilities include:
- Architecture of cross-platform data management and source data take-on
- Direct contribution to solution development
- Working closely with the .Net UI development team abroad and business stakeholders
The role demands solid SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL and PowerCenter ETL technical and architectural skills. The candidate must show experience and strong knowledge on how to design, implement and integrate solutions spanning each of the different technical system components. We are looking for a candidate to provide ongoing technical leadership and architectural skills to ensure that the best solution is developed and that best practices continue to be adopted in a consistent and practical manner.
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
- 8 years and ongoing hands on experience in SQL Server, Oracle PL/SQL and PowerCenter ETL
- Minimum 2 years architecture experience
- Experience of delivering within Agile teams, preferably Scaled Agile Framework
- General interest in the banking environment
- Strong communication skills
- Fluent in English
- Degree or equivalent in computer science or similar
