Für unseren Kunden in der Zentralschweiz suchen wir per 01.08.2015 einen " Content Architect / Technical Writer".Hauptaufgaben:
The Software Architecture team, consisting of SW engineers, architects and designers, works on the architectural framework and the top level design of laboratory diagnostics IT and Instrument projects. As the Technical Writer, you will provide support to all project and software architects with any architectural documentation activities. Your main tasks will be to:
Write, review and align architectural documentation in close collaboration with the platform and project Software Architects
Nebenaufgaben:
- Monitor and manage all architectural documentation activities and documentation timelines across relevant cross-geographic projects.
- Setup and conduct trainings complementary to architectural documentation.
- Cater to documentation-related requests originating from the Software Architecture team.
- Be responsible for collaborating with the project architects to produce and maintain the highest possible quality of architectural documentation deliverables across the Software Architecture team.
Additional tasks may be to:
- Create, modify and update templates and tools for a consistent and professional architectural documentation across the company.
- Cooperate with the technical writing department to align technical terms, processes, authoring tools etc.
Anforderungen:
- 6+ years of consistent professional growth, preferably in the software industry, with a very solid and deep background in Technical Writing, with a proven track record in applying your knowledge.
- Proven experience with page layout tools, presentation software, and authoring tools.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English. Good verbal command of German is desirable. Consistently flawless editorial skills and experience with style guides.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to find and communicate differing concepts to people of various cultures, backgrounds and interests.
- The ability to establish and enforce best practices and consistency in architectural documentation, while maintaining focus on project priorities and fostering an environment of open two-way communication.
- The ability to manage your work proactively and function under tight timelines, taking ownership for delivering high-quality work products while working as a team.
- Familiarity with software products which are typically used by software architects like UML tools and open source tools is an added advantage.
- Last but not least, you are willing to dive into a rich palette of technologies, needs and products, internal and external partners, always putting customer focus and usefulness at the center of what you do.
