For a major international client in Vevey, we are looking for a: SAP BW Solution Designer
to design, build, implement and support of reporting solutions, ensuring compliance, usability, performance, stability, availability of solutions delivered.
Responsibilities will include:
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand the Functional requirements (what) and identify the appropriate technology that better meet the needs (how).
- Liaise with BA Architect, Basis teams and other work streams where required.
- Liaise with Offshore developers to ensure solutions are built, tested and deployed in order to meet the business needs.
- Responsible to identify the possible impacts in the solutions in his/her area due to technical upgrades or functional changes.
- Coordinate release of changes, produce training material, take proactive actions to ensure proper support on the solutions delivered.
- Contributor to the success of projects, delivery on time, on scope and quality criterias are met.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Strong SAP BW configuration skills in multiple full life cycle projects. Mandatory
- At least 5 years BW experience in large, global application design and build projects
- ABAP knowledge with some coding/debugging experience in a BW context.
- Experience in SAP Business Objects as well as JAVA Scrip highly desirable.
- Experience in Hana highly desirable
- Analytical and Technical skills to produce detailed Functional Specifications
- Advanced Data warehousing and modelling capabilities
- Fluent in English
This is a contract position with an international client until the end of 2015 in the first instance. The client is located on Lake Geneva, in Vevey.
Info-Tech will provide advice and support through your relocation if you are working in Switzerland for the first time.
